da new ride

For the past 2 years I have owned a Honda Accord EX V6 and I thought that I would keep it until the wheels would come off. But with the rising cost of gas at the pump I had to make a tough decision. I traded it for a brand new 2006 Honda Civic EX. I have saved nearly $200 off the top and the trips to the pump now don’t seem to be burning a hole in my wallet. Honda manufacture great cars and the Civic is another example why Honda is tops. The gas mileage is pretty good too. I get about 40 miles/gallon. The new ride looks exactly like the stock image below from Honda. If you are in the market to buy a compact sedan the Honda Civic gives a huge bang for your buck. My in-laws are now considering getting one themselves. It is time to renounce all those gas guzzling SUV’s…

another year…another b-day

You guessed it. I am another year older. How old? 34 to be exact and looking younger with each passing day. This year I didn’t have any wild parties (not that I ever had) or do anything out of the ordinary. Sarah and I went to eat Korean for my b-day dinner. We drove to this place in Appleton (called Koreana) that serves sushi and Korean dishes. I love both cuisines so it is nice to have it under one roof. The Korean dishes are not as good as some of the places in Chicago but then again I am in Wisconsin. The sushi was good and on par with what I am used from Chicago. Read the rest of this entry »
